A new vibration

One morning
Anh decided to go for a walk
in the mountains
to look for a cave she had heard about
And so she set off
while the birds were singing
hello

♫ ♫ ♫

Into the forest she walked,
and she was greeted by oak and pine,
redwood and zebrawood,
cedar and jacaranda,
and every other
kind of tree

♫ ♫ ♫

After a while she came to a cinnamon grove,
where she lay down
among the leaves
of a cinnamon tree
and soon began
to dream

♫ ♫ ♫

You will only find it
if you don’t really care
whether you find it
or not,
said Cinnamon Dream
This way or that,
yes or no,
rain or shine,
either way is fine

♫ ♫ ♫

Anh awoke
and continued on through the forest
until she came
to a large meadow,
where millions of flowers
of every kind
danced in the wind:
agapantha, marijuanita, protia,
peace flowers, winter flowers, hoa buom

Anh oi

Oi
Hey, you can talk!

Of course
All flowers can talk
Most humans don’t hear us
because one can only hear subtle voices
when the mind is quiet,
when one is fully present
in the moment

Do you have a message for me?

In the mountain over there
something interesting
you might find

Thank you, Flower

You’re welcome

And so Anh walked
slowly
through the meadow
in no hurry
towards the mountain,
pausing
for moments,
sometimes hours,
along the way
to talk with other flowers

When she came to the foot
of the mountain,
Anh sat down,
closed her eyes
and began to feel
the mountain’s energy

♫ ♫ ♫

After some time,
and with her eyes still closed,
Anh stood up
and walked along the edge
of the mountain
until she sensed
the mouth of a cave
She opened her eyes
and entered

As her eyes adjusted
to the change in light,
she began to notice drawings
on the walls,
and when she could see
like a cat,
she began to walk
deeper
into the cave,
in a gradual spiral
to the left

Now and then Anh paused
to look at a drawing,
and then she moved on
until she came to one
that seemed to be alive
She sat down
on the ground
and looked at it
for awhile

♫ ♫ ♫

A sense of invitation
pulsated through the drawing,
so Anh stepped into the image
and through
to the other side,
where she embraced
a new vibration
