Fire

 From the evening fire
nourishing energy flowed,
and a few held out their hands to receive it

 There’s more than heat
coming from the fire

 Yeah
And it’s strong

 Very strong

 And nourishing

 I’ve heard of people who don’t eat,
who get their energy from the sun

 Maybe it’s possible to live off of the fire’s energy

 Maybe,
but I wouldn’t want to give up chocolate —
especially that blueberry chocolate from Finland

 Yeah,
the Finns make pretty good chocolate

 The two friends then fell silent
and returned their attention
to the fire
